Starting with counting our blessings and identifying our friends and resources, we'll bring order to all those documents and relationships that support us. As important as reckoning with death and mortality has always been, most Americans today avoid the subject until they can't. We'll edge up to the subject by looking at our personal and professional safety nets. By using personal experience, synergy and the collective IQ, by the end of the 6th class we'll each end up with a personal plan designed for our own personal and professional safety net structure.

With a Little Help From...
The authors Judy Pigott and Dr. John W. Gibson will give a student training at Farestart covering the topics 'Asking for, Accepting, Offering, Declining and Appreciating Assistance'. As the students go through the 16 week program designed to help them move from homelessness to employment in the food industry, they often experience stress, constant change and daily challenges.
